Introduction
Revelation 15 shows us a scene in heaven just before God’s final judgments are poured out on the earth.
Before the seals (Revelation 4–5), heaven was revealed.
Before the trumpets (Revelation 8), heaven was revealed.
Now before the bowls of wrath, heaven is revealed again.
👉 What’s it mean?
God wants us to understand that His judgment is not random—it is holy, deliberate, and justified.
The Victors: Who Are They?
These are believers who lived during the Tribulation:
- They refused the mark of the Beast
- They remained faithful to Christ
- They were killed for their faith
The world sees them as defeated.
God calls them victors.
👉 What’s it mean?
Victory in the Christian life is not avoiding suffering—it is remaining faithful to Jesus no matter the cost.
The Sea Mingled with Fire
John sees a “sea of glass” mixed with fire.
- Earlier (Revelation 4:6) → calm and clear
- Now → filled with fire
Fire represents God’s holiness and coming judgment.
👉 What’s it mean?
God is both:
- Beautiful in His holiness
- Fearful in His judgment
The Song of Moses and the Lamb
The saints sing:
- The Song of Moses → God’s deliverance from Egypt
- The Song of the Lamb → God’s deliverance through Christ
Their message is clear:
- God’s works are great
- God’s ways are just
- God’s judgments are true
👉 What’s it mean?
Even in judgment, heaven declares:
God is right in everything He does.
The Seven Bowls of Wrath
Seven angels come out of the heavenly temple carrying bowls filled with God’s wrath.
- Seven = completion
- These are the final judgments
👉 What’s it mean?
This is the end of God’s patience with a rebellious world.
The Open Temple in Heaven
The temple in heaven is opened.
- Earth’s temple → corrupted by the Beast
- Heaven’s temple → pure and sovereign
👉 What’s it mean?
God has not lost control.
He is still ruling from heaven.
The Temple Filled with Glory
The temple fills with smoke from God’s glory.
Then something critical happens:
👉 No one can enter the temple.
No More Intercession
- No prayers offered
- No mediator entering
- No delay of judgment
👉 What’s it mean?
There comes a point when:
- Grace ends
- Opportunity closes
- Judgment begins
The Big Truth of Revelation 15
Revelation 15 teaches us:
- God rewards faithfulness
- God judges righteously
- God’s patience does not last forever
Final Application
Right now:
- Grace is still available
- Salvation is still offered
- Christ is still calling
But one day:
- The temple will close
- The bowls will be poured out
- Judgment will fall
👉 What’s it mean for you?
Come to Christ now—while you still can.
